PANTRY TOOLKIT / 03
Set the oven with confidence.
Convert a conventional oven temperature. Fan adjustments are shown separately as an approximate guide.
Check your appliance manual. A common fan adjustment is about 20°C / 36°F lower than a conventional oven, but it varies by oven and recipe. This does not change food-safety temperatures.
Conversion and doneness are different.
The oven setting describes the air temperature. Food needs its own doneness check. For chicken, use a food thermometer and follow the safe internal temperature in the recipe.
